5 Dress-For-Work Tips You Gotta Know

Since I'm not working full-time right now, I don't really have to face the major dilemma every morning- spending a big chuck of time standing in front of my closet with a confused face. However, I still have to go to many formal meetings every week. And with the weather gets very hot during the day, how to dress professionally and comfortably without having to sacrifice looking good is also a challenge for everyone, including me.  So today, I'd like to share some of my thoughts on how to dress for work for summer.

尽管我目前没有一份朝九晚五的工作，所以我不用每天早上面临着站在我的衣橱前不知道要穿什么的抉择。但是，我每个星期还是有很多很正式的会议要参加。再加上，现在天气变得很炎热，要穿什么才会既看起来专业，穿起来舒服，又不失去时尚度呢？这的确是一个不小的难题。今天我就想跟大家分享5个你需要知道的上班族穿衣技巧！

1. Don't Ditch Your Blazer/Sweater

I understand that summer can get very humid and hot, and all you wanna wear is something breathable and sheer. But let's don't forget morning and nights could also get a little chilly. Sometimes I have to be on the road at 7 AM in the morning, and the temperature at that time wouldn't feel like summer at all. Plus, if you are working in an office environment, air conditioning sometimes could take you right back to winter. So, be prepare and bring a blazer or light sweater with you.

1。 不要把你的休闲西装外套和开衫收起来

我明白夏天的确很闷很热，所以我们只想穿那些透气性很强，很凉快的衣服。但是别忘记早晚的温度有时还是相当低的。有时候我早上七点就得出门，那时的温度完全感觉不到夏天的温暖。还有哦，如果你是上班族的话，应该深有体会，室内的空调有时候调得非常低，阴风阵阵的。所以我觉得随时准备一件小外套是挺有用的。

2. Wear Blouses

Looking professional and polished doesn't have to conflict with staying fashion forward and chic. One of the best versatile piece for an office look is blouses. They are not only very easy-breezy, but it's also quite simple to pair with anything to create a great business casual look. And if you want to look more fun, blouses with cute prints will be a great option. You can go for a more traditional prints, such as leopard, polka dot and strips. But there are also many different prints that are in trend right now, especially the fruit-prints and shape-prints. 

2。选择薄衬衣

职业性强和时尚度高这两点是完全可以共存的。其中一个非常百搭的单品就是薄薄的丝绸材质的衬衫。它不仅给人一种轻盈感觉的同时，还能通过搭配各种其他单品来打造一套完美的商务休闲装。而且，如果你想你的着装看起来更加活泼一点的话，不妨试试穿一些带有印花或图案的。不如说非常典型的豹纹，斑点，或者条纹。当下还很流行很多水果花纹和各种形状的图案衬衫呢。

3. Pencil Skirt

Although pencil skirt might sound very old fashion, it'd always be one of the best wearable pieces for work. First of all, pencil skirts generally have the perfect length that offer a professional yet chic vibe. And the silhouette of the skirts could compliments well with all kinds of body types. Lastly, it's such a versatile piece that can literally go well with anything- blouse, crop top, denim shirt...you name it! And you can even wear it on top of a dress to change up your wardrobe if you like.

3。 铅笔裙

尽管铅笔裙听起来很老套了，但是不可否认的是，它绝对是一个非常好搭的上班族单品。首先，它的长度非常合适，所以能塑造出那种职业性很强的感觉。其次呢，它的裁剪非常适合每个曲线的女孩子。因为它从臀部就开始往里收了，所以能起到提臀的效果。最后，它也是一个非常好搭的单品，和谁都能成为好朋友，像衬衫，半截衫，丹宁等等。你甚至还可以把铅笔裙穿在一条连衣裙的外面呢。

4. Pointy Toe Shoes

I highly recommend you to go for pointy-toe shoes because they generally can create an illusion that you have longer legs. Pumps or flats- your choice. Of course, the heels are higher, then your legs will look longer. But comfort is also another very important part to consider when putting an office outfit together. 

4。尖头鞋

我强烈推荐大家穿尖头鞋，因为它可以在视觉效果上把你的腿拉长。平底还是高跟，你的选择。当然，跟越高，你的腿看起来就会越长，但是对于上班的行头，舒适还是相当重要的。

5. Belt It Up

Whether it's a slim-tailored dress, a crop pants or even just a pencil skirt, a belt can come in handy with almost all the office pieces you want to put together. It not only gives that polished and finished touch to your outfit, but also is the best tool when you want to play some little tricks. For example, you can belt it a little bit higher than your actual waist line to create a better body proportion. Also, if your dress is a little bit too long, you can fold the fabrics at its waist line to make it shorter and use the belt to secure it.  

5。 系腰带
无论是你选择穿一条修身的连衣裙，一条七分西裤，还是铅笔裙，腰带都能起到一个修身和“点睛之笔”的作用。而且，有时候还可以视为一个很有用的工具。比如说，如果你把腰带系到腰部偏上一点的位置，可以给别人带来你的腿部更长的视觉效果。还有当你的裙子太长的时候，你可以把腰部的布折一折，再用腰带把它固定住。
